Acclaimed independent singer/songwriter Justin McRoberts debuted his music to a national audience in 1999 when 5 Minute Walk Records (home to Five Iron Frenzy) released his album, Reason for Living. McRoberts has carved out a successful career as a musician and author in the years that have followed, releasing multiple albums and even conceptual projects.
In 2016, McRoberts teamed with Scott Erickson to pen Prayer: 40 Days Of Practice, and now publisher Waterbrook-Multnomah (a division of Penguin Books) will be releasing an updated version of the book on February 5th.
In a newsletter sent out today, Justin wrote, “Speaking of new things… I’ve done everything on my own, for a very long time. That’s all changing now. On Feb 5, Waterbrook-Multnomah (an arm of Penguin Books) re-releases an updated “Prayer: 40 Days Of Practice.” This will be the first project I’ve done with a publisher, label or production company since 2002.”
After thanking fans for continued support, Justin mentioned a special preorder incentive, “Waterbrook/Multnomah is sending out an exclusive piece of art from the book to anyone pre-ordering.” This special offer ends February 4th.
Following the re-release of Prayer on February 5th, Waterbrook-Multnomah will also release May It Be So: Forty Days with the Lord’s Prayer on September 24, 2019. You can preorder this release now (in hardcover or Kindle) on Amazon.
