Curb Records’ Carly Ann Taylor Introduces Her Powerful Voice on “Why Should I Worry”

September 9, 2025

Newly signed Curb Records artist Carly Ann Taylor introduces her powerful voice on her label debut, “Why Should I Worry (Remind Me Version),” out today (9/5) — listen HERE.

Based in Southern California, the newcomer brings her soulful range to a refreshed recording of an original she previously released in late 2024. Rooted in Matthew 6, she reminds herself, as much as anyone else, that worry won’t add a single day to our lives. Building to a crescendo, with the help of a choir, Taylor drowns out anxiety by surrendering to a Savior who offers peace and rest. The emerging songstress wrote “Why Should I Worry (Remind Me Version)” with David Cook and Randy James Taylor.

“I’m so excited to share this new season of music that praises a God who never changes! He is faithful to remind us time and time again of who He is, and I pray His peace meets you exactly where you are,” shares Taylor, who announced her official partnership with Curb in April. “If you’re someone who struggles with anxiety and fear of your future, this song is for you.”

Born in Hawaii and introduced to music at a young age, Taylor found refuge in lyrics and melodies, while growing up in a home defined by dysfunction and abuse. At 15, she moved to San Diego, where she was taken in by her older brother and his wife, whom she now refers to as her mother and father. Under their loving care, she experienced the healing power of family and God’s redeeming love. She soon began singing at church, where she honed her craft and discovered her purpose. Armed with a degree in commercial music production from Point Loma Nazarene University, Taylor currently serves as the youth worship leader at her home church in Encinitas, California, right outside of San Diego.

Finding hope in Jesus, Taylor’s calling is to lead people toward an authentic, transformational worship experience. She is now poised to share her journey from brokenness to healing, showcasing her voice through a rich combination of experience, faith and conviction.
