Hulvey Surprise-Drops New Album, “COULD BE TONIGHT”

April 14, 2026

After releasing three new singles so far this year, Reach Records’ Hulvey has dropped a surprise new album this weekend. Titled COULD BE TONIGHT, the hip hop artist wanted to honor the mystery surrounding Jesus’ pending return by surprising fans with the new record.

While it’s not available everywhere yet, Hulvey has made the record available through a pay-what-you-want format to help listeners gain access to it. Check that out here.

Below is Hulvey’s announcement for the album:

A Letter from Hulvey

2 years ago, I’m sitting at a red light. I randomly have the idea of making an album of Jesus’ return, and then….. I didn’t make it.

Last summer I finally chose to sit down and make this album. And I haven’t experienced God lead my music so precisely since my debut project BRKNHRT. I thought I was writing this to the listener to be ready when Jesus returns but it turns out I was writing this for me.

Before He returns….
I need to forgive quicker.
I need to love how He loves.
I need pray for my enemies.
I need to put my family over my music.
I need to trust I am His son even when I don’t feel like it.

I need to trust Him with my OCD.
I need to let His light shine through me.
Because He made me to.

I wanted to give you this album out the blue because that’s how it will be when The King returns. We don’t know when, but we MUST be ready. I’ll let you listen to the music now. I love you guys.
